ECOTOURISM

This circuit lies in the Kameng Watershed region in western part of the state which is en-route to places such as Bomdila, Dirang, Tawang and Bumla Pass. The Circuit has the significance of providing the wholesome tourism experience constituting the Wildlife Tourism in Pakke Tiger Reserve and Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary; Cultural Tourism in form of experiencing the cultural heritage of Aka Tribe in Bhalukpong to Monpa Tribe in Tawang; Religious Tourism in Tawang, Adventure Tourism in sites like West Kameng River, Recreational Tourism at high altitude Lakes in Tawang and others.

This circuit is accessible through Donyi-Polo Airport at Itanagar, Capital of Arunachal Pradesh. The circuit offers mix of culture, town wildlife experiences which makes the visit of a tourist wholesome.

This circuit is along mighty Siang River and lofty mountains that provide the breathtaking view to the visitors. This unique natural landscape provides habitat to enormous diversity of flora and fauna along with providing experience of rich cultural experience of Galo tribe. The circuit culminates in magnificent Mechuka, which is one of the well-known towns for tourism activities.

Dibang is the landscape lying at the confluence of three biogeographical realms, India, Chinese and Burmese. The region has huge floral and faunal biodiversity including the Bengal Tiger who has been report thriving at the height of 3900 m amsl, magnificent Mishmi Takin, Red Panda, Musk Deer and others. The ride from Anini to Dambeun along with rich culture heritage of Idu-Mishmis leaves life-long imprints on the memory of the visitors.

Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve is well known for its huge biodiversity as it provides altitudinal variation ranging from 300m to 4000m MSL. The Protected Area has historic importance from conservation point of view and has been attracting people from all over world.
